The Great Butter Adventure of '09!

I said I was going to make butter, and I did! Super easy with the Kitchen-Aid.

First, I started with fresh, organic heavy cream.



Then I poured it in my Kitchen-Aid and put it on low.


It went through several stages.





Look! It's almost butter :)



Buttermilk poured off.


Rinsed and squeezed.


And the leftover buttermilk.



This was way awesome and I just might do it again.
