Busy weekend!
22 April 2007 18:19This weekend was just packed full!
Friday night - Did show...I think we had eight people in the audience. eh.
Saturday morning - Drove for 45 minutes to buy a manual push-mower from a person on Craigslist. On the way home, we stopped at the SPCA and the greatest little dog picked us out! They say he is about five months old.
Saturday afternoon - Trip to store to buy food for the gathering. Cooked food and held gathering. Good times. Quick trip to PetSmart for a crate and leash for new dog who we have now named Travis.
Saturday night - Off to do show. Had a GREAT audience filled with our friends. This was also the best show we have done so far this run. GREAT! Home to play with Travis. Put Trav in his crate where he whines for about five minutes. When he stops, he sleeps all night and does not mess his crate. Right on.
Sunday morning - Walk Trav for 20 minutes then off to PetSmart to buy a name tag and other doggie peraphernalia. All good.
Sunday afternoon - Finish cleaning up after gathering. Not a ton to do because we have such kick ass friends who helped clean the big stuff the night before. Play with Travis. Convince him that the chew toys are better for gnawing than his leg or foot. Odd.
Sunday evening - Sit on back patio enjoying the beautiful day and playing with Travis. Now, off to the lab to add some drug to my cells.
