Maryland Faerie Festival 2009

This weekend was the Faerie Festival in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. I had a wonderful time because I had the best help EVER at Glamour Glen. I had Jessica and Allison whose parents were vendors selling cool stuff made of shed antler.

Here is me and my new wings! My costume isn't as spectacular as it will be. I received thewings on Thursday, so I really didn't have time to modify the shirts to be awesome. And those bra straps are lovely. I'll fix that next time :) For now, just look at the wings.







AND!!! I am so getting something like this as a tatoo in the future! It won't be in a straight line like this, but the idea is what I'm going for. I know it isn't original, but I am trying to figure out how to incorporate a very small faerie into the mix. Maaybe make it look like she is blowing dust from behing my ear. It is unfortunate that there is no such thing as a permanent glitter tattoo!
